  1. Hi,

It sounds like your pointe shoes died!  The shank in the pointe shoe is make of metal.  That means that every time you bend it, it fatigues a little more.  All of a sudden it breaks completely and it's pretty much unusable.  That means it's time for new ones.

    Keep dancing!♥

  2. Pointe shoes are a tricky thing, and can 'die'. You can usually tell when your pointe shoe dies once the box and platform get all bent out of shape, and the shank often breaks. You will obviously need to get new pointe shoes. Good luck!!

  3. your shoes are sadly too broken for repair

once you've worn your shoes for a while, the shank and box will start to weaken and bend more easily.  once they bend too easily and going onto pointe is a chore, you're in need of new shoes

pointe shoes are only designed to last for about 7-9 months at the very most, shorter if you do more vigorous exercises or take lots of classes

once your shoes have broken, you need to get a new pair because it's dangerous to dance on broken shoes

  4. pointe shoes are only spoust to last 3-6 months I you had them a year plus 2-3 months after thery're going to be dead also you might want to try different brand different brands have different life expectancy gaynor minden are what I wear they're the best =^..^=
