Question:

Why did my question about dog-stomping mules get deleted??

Hey guys -- I haven't had this happen before (admittedly I've only asked 3 questions) but my question I asked about dog-stomping mules got deleted. There were only three answers and they all sucked so I picked no best answer. It stayed up for a few days but now has been deleted. I didn't get an email saying it got deleted or anything?? I'm confused because it wasn't a question that started a disagreement or anything...?

What happened? Would someone have to have reported it or something? Is this what we mean by trolls??

  1. aww, looks like the tweens were out!

It was most likely little kids, that shouldnt be on here, not liking what u said. So they decided to delete it.

If someone doesnt like the answer, or the questing, and even if it does the follow the terms of agreement they still have the power to delete it, and there is nothing we can do.

Some little kid delete my question a long time ago, on a different account because i was going to breed my horse.

The horse section isnt really for horse questions anymore. U cant get any really good answers, because alot of people who dont know what they are talking about try to answer it, and a ussally just acting really stuck up. But there are some good people on here, who do know how to answer a question.

Srry, but there are to many trolls, and not enough troll eaters.

    EDIT

i so agree with black bunny. I would love to see some real answers, and questions on here! WERE DID THE HORSE PEOPLE GO, COME BACK COME BACK PLEASE!

  2. It's one of those mysteries....you can appeal to YA all you want and you'll never get an answer.  It was probably just some troll and/or otherwise ignorant person here who think it's cool to thumbs down people and to try and get their questions reported.  Quite lame!  I have had several disappear lately.  Summer vacation isn't quite over yet, apparently....  :)

  3. All it takes to have a question deleted is to have someone report it. It doesn't matter if it was legitimate or not. Go and report a question and boom, it is gone. Some of my horses are dog stompers. The will learn to keep their distance. I don't blame my horses for stomping dogs. I had a foal killed by dogs this year and we shot them. Dogs are predators and horses don't want them around.  We have some small dogs and they tolerate them, not big dogs. I want to get a donkey because I've heard they keep the dogs and coyotes away.

  4. Well, first of all I think I answered that question so I guess my answer sucked.  That aside, many people are experiencing this kind of thing....even answers on long ago resolved questions are being reported as violations.  So, yes.  Someone has to be trolling to stir up trouble for resolved questions to suddenly be being reported.  Your question sounds like it got deleted before it ever was resolved....I think if you didn't get notified that it violated community guidelines, you should go onto the forum and question it....a lot of these deletions don't ever get explained.  good luck....I think I said to fence the dogs out of the field the mules are in?  Why does that suck????

EDIT...I guess my answer did suck!!!!! Can't get em all.

  5. I had that happen once I asked a question about a friend of mine asked me to hook up but he had a girlfriend plus he lived far away I was confused and people said mean things and I was going to pick a question and it was deleted apparently someone flagged it or something, It didn't email me or anything. I just figured it was that.

  6. I'm sorry it got deleted.  I have had like 4 get deleted. Love them trolls!!! LOL  But, I did star the question to see new answers. I have no good answer.... Just let the dog learn the hard way, but that can be a bit expensive!

  7. The trolls are rampant here lately.  If you notice...a few of us don't want to play here anymore until after school starts.

There are legitimate questions here...but lately...we are overrun with 'tweenie' questions.  Please...

It's like a junior high daycare...no fun and many don't want the advice of really true EXPERIENCED horsepeople.

Real questions are being deleted...wish I could have seen yours.  Sounded like something I would have been interested in...way better than "Is my horse pretty"...

    Bummer.

If it got deleted...yahoo will send you a violation notice and you can appeal if you want to.  Don't hold your breath though.
