Question:

Why did my rabbits pupils randomly turn white?

It looks like he can't see very well and he is acting different. Did any of your rabbits have this problem? Anything similar atleast? He had dark brown/ black eyes all his life and just now both of them ( the pupils) are a cloudyish white. Any one got any advice or answers?? Please and Thanks.

  1. I believe that - since this is the case for most animals - that your rabbit's going blind or already is. Usually if the pupils become clouded, they may have something like cataracts or it could have accidentally hurt it's eyes. Regardless, there's a high likeliness your bunny is blind.

    If you want to test it's blindness, bring your finger near (but don't poke!) his eye. Move it a little if you want to see if he'll spot it. (Don't touch his eyelashes either). If he blinks, he saw your finger. If he doesn't, he's probably blind.

    I don't know what else could be wrong, though.
