It was a controversal finish that end under caution and with some lucky breaks. So why did no one throw stuff at him like they have other drivers this year if its not jr fans that throw stuff?

  1. Because junior fans are smart enough, to enjoy their budweiser, rather than throw it...

  2. I was wondering that during The Brat's interview, where are the beer cans?

  3. gee I think maybe because it is childish.  It is not only jr fans that throw things.  I have been at the races many times and have seen a lot of fans throw things.  I dont know why they do it....it is stupid.  Believe or not most of the ones throwing things are NOT the fans of the more popular drivers.

  4. because if they did they probably wouldnt of been walking out of MIS they would of been carried out on a stretcher

give it up he won!! ans will win again

  5. Well who threw out the bud can on the back stretch then? Surely a jr fan would not have done such a stupid thing....

I think your mom is calling you to come down for dinner...

  6. Controversy or not a win is a win, they were to busy celebrating, probably drinking AMP... Maybe race fans are smarting up, they know its not nice to throw anything at any driver..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  7. Cause there are some Junior fans that wanna be a fan of a guy who teamed up with his arch rival (Jeff Gordon). They haven't drank from the cup of truth.

Michigan is without a doubt a boring race track i.e., California, Atlanta, Kansas, Chicagoland, etc. It's undetermined why people didn't throw stuff at him. After all, NASCAR is now a popularity contest that is now all political.

Instead of SHUT UP AND DRIVE :D

  8. Jr had his UAW card taped to the dash

  9. because jr is the most popular driver

  10. That's a riot, I had to work Sunday night and slept right through the race.  Soon as I seen Dale Jr. won Sunday I knew Nascar felt sorry for him and gave him one somehow...  Yeah I just now found out, but what did I miss, nothing, except it took Jr. 76 races and 2500 beers later to get his mother in law out of his head...

  11. stirring up sh*t again are we??? well stop it!! the next time your at a race take pictures of the fans that are throwing stuff on the track and prove to me that it's ONLY the Jr fans and not just a bunch of drunk Nascar fans!! You know Jr fans aren't the only ones that drink beer are they? and I think there are 42 other drivers out on that track besides Jr and they just might have fans there too so what makes you think that it's always only Jr fans? could it be just a bunch of idiots that shouldn't be allowed back at the track if they are throwing stuff?

  12. uhh maybe because 99% of people that throw stuff is JR nations and why would they hit there leader?

  13. Give it a rest.  They were too busy drinking their Amp's to keep up their energy for the great finish!

    Go Jr.>>>>

  14. I was!!! Oh wait, no I wasn't. My bad.

I hadn't noticed that, interesting observation.

And even if it is only Jr fans that throw stuff, it's not ALL of Jr's fans that do that, my husband would never throw stuff at anyone, he has more dignity than that. A few bad apples spoil the bunch, and that's a pretty big bunch!!

  15. think about this dude i cant evenm beleive ur asking the whole ******* track is jr fans. i mean come on there are only like 10%of other fans there bbesides jr fans

  16. How can you call it controversial?  When a caution is thrown on the last lap the field is frozen.  Jr's team gambled with the fuel mileage and won.  If you go back and look and the footage, the leader had to pit to get more fuel, thus putting Jr in the lead.  That is the rule.  Don't like it, contact NASCAR and ask them why and then to change it.

As for throwing things onto the track...some of the driver's fans do it as a celebration others in dislike.

For those of you who can't remember, Jr is not sponsored by Bud anymore.  That is why you didn't see any beer cans in Victory Lane.

  17. Come on, stop it, Junior won, and he's an all time favorite.

Cause Everyone, almost everyone was glad he won.  I mean thats my guess...

  18. Non-Jr fans (15%) were probably afraid they would be murdered on the spot by Jr. Nation.

Either that, or they are just smart enough to know that throwing things at people that put their lives on the line each week is ridiculous and someone could seriously get hurt.
