  1. coz they r busybody.....

  2. As I'm guessing, you have noticed how many people loved and cared for Princess Diana and how so many that still do after her death.

    But why?

Why care? She's just another Princess, isn't she?

    No.

She was "The People's Princess." People loved and adored her because she was so much like them. She wasn't another stuck up princess, she was the first princess to actually care. She was the first person in the royal famiy to touch someone with HIV/AIDS. She didn't care that she was royalty and people watched her every move, she danced when she wanted to dance. Sang when she wanted to sing. This was somthing no one had ever seen someone of the royal family do. And for that, they loved her. They felt that she was one of them. She gave them hope that someday they could marry a prince. A hope that yes, was unatanable, but it didn't seem like that. A hope that was much needed for people in England and around the world. She was one of them (even though she was actually royalty before)

Then, Charles divorced her! "How dare him!" That is what everyone thought. "She's beautiful Charles. She is the mother of your children Charles. You scum bag Charles!" Was what everyone was saying, giving Princess Diana the sympathy card. She was a divorcee with a broken heart, just another reason to love her. Plus, Charles cheated on her, more sympathy for Diana!

The love for Diana may seem silly and stupid, but it was what made her. There really wasn't a reason not to love her. So when she died, everyone felt like they lost their "underdog." Diana was a person who you could say, overcame the odds. Now she was dead? It was like losing a friedly neighbor, would the neiborhood every be the same? Would England ever be the same? Plus the death was so unexpected and such a tragedy, people felt even sadder about it.

In short, so many people cared when she died because she was the first Princess to make people feel like they knew her and was her close friend.

    "The People's Princess"

    Hope that answers your question!

    Jane Marie

  3. because she changed what it meant to be a princess and also she was going through a messy divorce with her husband so there were many rumors circulating about her

  4. Wow! How old are you? Princess Diana was an influential woman who went above and beyond her role as the Princess of Wales and actually made a difference in the lives of the countless people she tried to help. She was loved the world over because of her compassion.

You've got to be a child if you can't understand that. And to the kids who already answered this question....she wasn't "having" a wedding. She had already married Prince Charles and he had an affair with Camila. Her marriage was ruined and she was working hard to make a normal life for herself and her children but was forced to do it in the public eye because the media hounded her relentlessly. Hence, the reason she died!

  5. Well you wouldn't understand if your not british. There's no point questioning it now when it happened ten years ago. Why did so many people care when elvis presley died? I don't care at all. Diana was the people's princess.

  6. She was a beautiful, warm, and compassionate woman and mother. She was the perfect vision to many of us, of what a "princess" should be.

  7. Because she was famous and was having a royal wedding, that's why, people were fascinated.... for some reason.

I actually was disappointed at my mother making me watch the funeral.

  8. She had such high hopes and expectations of being loved by someone she had always liked and had a crush on that when he and the royal family kept making her life miserable, she was sad,and depressed and became anorexic and bulimic. They flaunted Camilla at her and so she turned to other things. She became this lovely, poised, fun loving mother who adored her kids and was not afraid to show them how much she loved them,so when she died, she left 2 beautiful kids who were now going to be influenced by a stoggy father and uptight grandparents, and the light seemed to be dimmer without her.May she rest in peace.

  9. I have wondered about that myself.

It was very sad that she died so suddenly & so youg but I really didn't understand the amount of mass grief & hysteria that ensued.

  10. b/c she was the ppl's princess she stood up for her beliefs and she didnt act all stuffy she related to the ppl and she had a heart thats why ppl love her and still keep her alive.....
