Why did some silly Christians claim the Obama set looked like a Greek temple?

Its a propaganda war to make Obama out to be the antichrist.

The conservative say the media is making him to be some sort of messiah.

The temple thing is to make him seem he is associating himself with ancient gods.

Its all about demonizing the man to evangelicals.

I think it looked awesome!  

I think Obama as President is appealing.  I think he wants to make improvements in basicially the EXACT same areas as McCain just in a different manner.  

I was disturbed that Obama said last night and I am paraphrasing here, "As a nation we should fall or rise together."  This seems like a very socialist remark and worldview.  So that caused some alarm.  The rest of the speech was well done.  

I think that it is awesome though that a black man is a real possibility for President.  It wasn't that long ago that there were still laws on the books that created deep segreation and devauled blacks.  Go America!  Way to Improve!

I love that it was done by Bobby Allen and his team, the same professionals who are responsible for those innovative Britney Spears stage designs. Theater at it's finest. As to your question. The set was (supposedly) designed to resemble the Lincoln Memorial which is in fact built in the style of a Greek Doric temple. Above the statue of Lincoln are the words "In this Temple, as in the hearts of the people, for whom he saved the Union, etc."
