Why did sony have to discontinue the 20 GB PS3?

i mean come on dude i was gonna buy one all i want to do is play is GTA 4 and metal gear solid its not like i gonna buy a thousand games or somthing. was there like a hardware problem???? it like just came out!!!!!!!!

the sales were low, but the prices of the consoles are going down very soon, so just keep your eyes open

The sales on the 20GB where very low, because most people where buying 40GB or higher because they wanted alot of games. Since 360 dropped its price, you should suspect a price drop on the PS3 sometime in the near future.
