I'm not sure that it was a full ranking international. Therefore I don't think it counts.

They would have, but not very many. The difference between the rankings of the two countries is too big.

For example, the 'Boks would have earned more IRB points by beating a team like NZ, who are much closer to them in the rankings than Wales.

The IRB is simply not the fastest tractor on the farm, seems ridiculous not to update the website the moment the final whistle blows but. . . these things take time.
