This is my assignment.

-Write a page comparing the two specifically, which parts are the same and which parts are different? What were the biggest benefits of the Constitution over the Articles? Were there any aspects of the Articles that might have been worth keeping?

I'm just looking for great sources not an essay to copy. Absolutely NO WIKIPEDIA! Must be legitimate and not editorial unless authored by published political scientist.

  1. I just visited Independence Hall in Philadelphia and the park ranger giving the speech in the room where the Articles of Confederation where penned stated the following (approximately): "We as a nation lived under the Articles for a few years however the founding fathers returned to this room to work on the Constitution beacuse the articles failed in creating a strong centralized government; leaving the states less united and more like 13 separate countries"

  2. they lacked the provisions needed to have an effective goverment so they failed

  3. You should look through databases.

Your school should provide access to them, free for you, not for them.

EBSCO Host is a good one. Just in case you can't use a database, I'm sending giving you links directly to some stuff related on the A of C.
