  1. This primary issue is being lost in the increasing volume of rhetoric directed at implied images.

The two democratic candidates represent a strong ticket focused on implementing federal based socialistic programs that are not supported by the Constitution.  If successful this will continue the growth of an intrusive federal government.  A growth that has been supported by many members of both parties.

The two republican candidates seemingly represent the beginning of a move back toward constitutional foundations and a federal government which will be reduced (over time) by ensuring that it works only within the delegated powers.

This is a gigantic goal and made more so by such a large segment of the people not understanding the Constitution and desiring a nanny state where they increasingly have less personal responsibility.  A continuing decreasing of personal responsibility that is couple with an increase in loss of personal freedoms.

That is what this election is about and what the two sets of candidates represent.

  2. I don't think anyone is really attacking Palin but rather John McCains whacked out decision.Hillary Clinton was a more qualified person not just a woman. It is so apparent that is the main reason Palin was chosen. I think I would have been insulted if I were her to be used in this way by the Campaign. If Hillary had won the nomination would McCain have chosen some random, unknown black guy for his VP?

  3. I don't think anyone is attacking the governess of Alaska... With that said... It looks like McCain is just trying to throw salt onto a wound with this one... either that or he decided that the only way to for him to run on family values is to have a VP with 5 kids.... With that said, Biden was a good choice, though Hillary proved to be a strong opponent, he needs someone that he can work with, as well as someone that will bring more of a balance.

  4. That question implies the Democrats do not want women close to the Presidency.

I believe the issue is the simple fact that McCain's VP candidate has more executive experience than the Democrat's Presidential candidate.

Couple that with the fact that she can bring forward lifetime acquaintances who will vouch for her character, while Obama has to hide many of his old friends.

McCain's choice of Palin for VP was brilliant.

  5. Hillary has a lot of things that make her disliked. Obama needs more blue collar votes as opposed to women so of course he is going to choose Biden who is the epitome of blue collar.
