Why did the FBI ignore James Tague's testimony (JFK assassination)?

The first investigation on the assassination of JFK was conducted by the FBI, which knew that James Tague had filed a police report on November 22 (or Nov. 23,not sure) stating that a concrete chip had hit him in the face as a result of a lost bullet; but the Bureau failed to investigate or even mention Tague's story in its report released on November 26th.

  1. because Johnson wanted the investigation over as quick as possible so the world could move on  


  2. James Teague's story was investigated.  He was not called to testify however.

  3. ...and for good reason.
