Why did the Marine Corps send me a letter regarding my time at Camp Lejeune concerning the water quality......

Question

of the base during the time period of 1957 and 1987 in which i was there in between that time in 80-81? yes i did drink the water there, was it polluted? is there a class action lawsuit going on? why the dept of the Navy contacted me thru the IRS?

Yes, the water was contaminated for some parts of the base.  I hear it wasn't very bad but they just want to prevent anything and the chances of actually something happening are low.  I am unaware of a lawsuit.  Just trying to care for the fellow marine.
