Why did the Portuguese police exaggerate DNA findings but ignore a possible sighting of Madeline?

If you read the  Official Police Reports you will discover that it was the FSS that screwed up the DNA results by changing their minds and backtracking on the original tests. They dithered and delayed and have not gave back the sample of Madeleine's 'tuft' of hair.

It would be wise to remember that the police kept many things private and that may have been one thing which they kept from the public which they have every right to do so

You don't know their innocent... people just can't bare to suspect them for to long because they have respected professions. I'm a bit shocked they havn't been punished for neglect

I think if you saw Maddie in the street now you wouldnt regonise her, although thier is a big chance she is dead, the people who took her are obverouisly smart people, and they would of made her look alot differnt now, whether they dye her hair made her gain weight etc....whatever they could think of... if this whole circus thing is true though, shouldnt be to hard to track down them all and check it out...but actally regonising her in plain sight ? Another story.
