Short Attn Spans - Do you remember that McCain was hand-picked by Hillary and Obama?

During the Democratic Primaries, when Hillary was at the height of her fight against Barack Obama, she boldly claimed that she was the one to go up against John McCain in the National Election...

Barack Obama quickly retorted that HE WAS in fact, the one to defeat McCain...

John Edwards had a look of shock and dismay on his face because there were two other potential Republican candidates still in the running (one of whom had more votes than McCain at that point)...

Why did the Republicans let Hillary decide who the GOP nominee would be?

  1. President George Bush's Presidency has left the Republican Party tarnished and divided. In fighting between conservatives and neo-cons have fashioned a gap large enough to drive a Mac truck inside. This couple with a large percentage of Republicans changing parties to either Independent or Democrats. Just today at the DNC Convention; a Republican Veteran; kicked off the Nomination Process for Obama's Presidency.

  2. McCain got the the nomination from states that allow crossover voting in the primaries.  This means that regardless of party affiliation, you can vote for whoever you wish.  There was a campaign early on for Democrats in these states to vote for McCain, since he is the most liberal Republican of any note.  There was also a similar campaign by the Republicans to keep Clinton in the race longer to draw out the Democratic race.  Unfortunately politics has been warped greatly.

  3. Hillary knew as I did too that the republican primary was all rigged.

We both knew that McCain would be the nominee because he is the ONLY ONE who could possibly tap into the "liberal" vote, and once the vote was close the "DIEBOLD AFFECT" would take over again except this time there will be civil war.

  4. The real question is "Why didn't John Edwards get the memo"?

Had Edwards disclosed his affair during the Iowa caucuses, Sen Clinton probably would have gotten the nomination.  Boy, is she POed at him.  First Bill, now John.

  5. its hilary. shes amazing.

  6. I don't think they did. The majority of them voted for McCain in the primaries, simply because they preferred him over the other contenders.

  7. because they are so in love with her
