Why did the WWE not do a storyline about Cody Rhodes turning on Holley?

In most storylines like the way it started the tag partner turns on his other. and then they would wrestle eachother.The WWe has acted like the Bob holly thing hasn't even happen.Thats what I didn't like about the breakup of the APA.There wasn't any storyline were bradshaw wrestled simmons.

When Cody wrestled Holly in the single matched prior to them teaming up Cody was always beaten nearly everyweek.Its not like I don't like Cody but they never did anything with him to make him interesting.The first match he was in he lost to Randy Orton.I used to like watching his father wrestle, but his father also had to work for what he became.

Here's the most logic take on it.  First of all, Hardcore Holly might be next in line on the "future endeavors" list.  If that's the case, then there would be no reason to include him in a feud. Especially one as personal as a tag-team breaking up and such. But here's what I really think.  Once in a while, WWE seems to go through a phase where they rush a superstar through feuds in order to get him or her in the main event quicker.  I think the quicker they broke up the Rhodes/Holly tag team, the easier it was to get the belt on him.  No doubt a possible Rhodes and Holly feud would have been cool if done right, but I think they saw it as a waste because it would have done nothing to help Ted Dibiase at the time.  I guess what I'm trying to say is that WWE saw Holly as a waste of TV time, so instead of involving him in a feud with a new superstar, they wanted look to the future and move Rhodes forward. Plus Rhodes needed some backbone/support to lean on in Ted Dibiase, so he could introduce his new attitude and character.

I think Cody is doing a great job. I do not get why they didn't finish the Holly storyline though. I'm guessing because Holly needed time off. Maybe they were going to do more with it but decided it was best Holly got his time off. I love the fact Cody and Teddy are together. When I heard about Teddy...and saw him for the first time...they went to Cody and Hollys reaction...and i smiled so big because i thought of the possibility of rhodes and teddy. and it happened. i think its interesting. i think all worked out pretty good.

Holly might be getting released due to the fact of limitations. So if he got released half way of the storyline, that will most likely be stupid.

It was because Holley has been off t.v for a while now, I think WWE gave him a break.
