Why did the bus drive off without me?

Many Bus companies have driver regulations. one of them is that they can only pick up passengers  at designated bus stops. He was stopped at the designated spot,,,you were not there,,he did not see you approaching or he/she would have waited. The bus moved on away from the designated pick up spot. They are then not allowed to stop further on even if they then notice you and they cannot back up the bus. They could be fired for it.

Sorry, but I'm picturing that. It was probably full. Or he's jsut a really mean, grumpy bus driver who didn't feel like stopping. That happens to my friends all the time.
