  1. youre correct, they are a pain in the ****, they harbor terrorist ideals and terrorists themselves, their Muslim brothers awoke a sleeping giant and they get an *** kicking, so they had it comin !

  2. Contrary to popular belief it did not start with the attacks on the WTC but actually back with a little almost forgotten war we waged secretly with the russians back in the 80's in Afghanistan. Here is a little background. Now we helped theAfghanss push the russians back out of their country but after this we left them flat not helping with any of the reconstruction orinfrastructurall work that we helped out with in every other war we had fought (building schools hospitals clean water etc) which lead to someanimosityy but the big problem was that there was no clear leader in charge which lead to a fight for power. Now here comes a little ultrareligiouss group called the taliban comes out the victor of these little fights mainly because they were a pillar of stability in a regionplaguedd withinstabilityy. They came and with in months had secured much of middleAfghanistann and southern too. Now as i said the Taliban is a ultra radicalreligiouss group where they take theirinterpretationn of quran to beindisputablee. They condemed anything of the west (yes they outlawed music and tv). In a nut shell they hateany peoplee that do not follow their specific beliefs. That is a basic description and history but this is a topic that can be hotly debated

  3. It all started back in Ibn Saud day. Ibn Saud, was king and creator of modern day Saudi Arabia, now the U.S. needed a resource from Ibn Saud land. So U.S.A. goes and tries to establish trading rights' with Ibn Saud, Ibn Saud really did not need the U.S. but was open for business. The taliban was like an official police to the king's royal family. Ibn Saud passed, and I believe Faisal became king. Whenever the king needed assistance he would contact bin laden's brother Salem. Basically the conflict with the Taliban started over oil.

  4. I don't know...in 80s USA gave them money to fight again the Russians...but probably they didn't use that money to do what it had been given for...or not only...

  5. Here's the story. . . .

After the Soviets were defeated in Afghanistan, a civil war ensued between the Islamists (the Taliban, with the help of foreigners like Osama bin Ladin) and moderates of Northern Alliance led by General Ahmad Shah Massoud.  The Taliban were victorious as the Northern Alliance was pushed to just a small fraction of the country.  With the Taliban in charge of Afghanistan, Bin Ladin was welcomed  as guest by the Taliban.  Bored with no one to fight to, Bin Ladin targeted the Americans, ranting the Americans' involvement in the '92 Gulf war.  To make the story short, 911 happened.  The Americans invaded Afghanistan to look for Bin Ladin.  Along the way, the Talibans were deposed.  A democratic government was set up with the help of Nato.  The Taliban has since been fighting the Americans and Nato troops using primarily guerrilla tactics.

    Who will win? I donno.

  6. Do you mean with the USA or in general?  If you're referring to the first then all I have to say is ... when they killed hundreds of Americans on Sept 11, 2001.  Where were you?

  7. Between the U.S.? That would have to be 9/11.

  8. Although some Muslims, and islamics will disagree it is all in the Koran. In the Koran it talks about the Jihad or holy war. Basically it says to try to convert people to islam, and if they will not convert, than kill them. Many islamic people will argue that the koran says not to kill any one and is a peaceful religion, but it is in there own book!

I am not saying that all islamic people are violent, but there are a few that take the teachings of the koran to the extreme...thus the name extremists.

Every religion has it's own form of extremists. Some are violent, and others choose to cut them selves off from society (like the amish).

The word Talib it's self means "one who seeks." The Taliban is a group that claims to be seeking religious knowledge.

I am including a web sight that explains some of this.
