Question:

Why did the engine warning light flash on my Ford Ka?

I was driving along at quite a low speed, about 15 mph, and I noticed the engine warning light flashing. It stopped after about half a minute. This happened a couple of years ago, and I was told it could be due to poor petrol (from Tesco). Coincidently, I last filled up at Tesco (which I don't normally do). So, could it be the petrol, or is there something sinister going on with the engine that I should be worried about? Luckily, I'm due to have my car serviced on Friday.

  1. Ford has these silly bad engineering design flaws with in-line fuses.

If all the fluid levels are right, and engine temperature normal, have one of you boy friend install you an engine temperature gage, gages are much better than lights.

  2. some time its a fuse that could be wrong but if i was u i would take it to ford place and have it ckecked for other damge just to be safe
