  1. Censorship issues and the way society looked at certain things has changed...plus what was going on in the world (WWII) at the time also has influenced the movies...

Google things like movies over the decades, movie changes over the years, etc. Good luck!

  2. Censorship has changed dramatically - there is now a grading system in place.  More things that were not said, shown or depicted in the 1950s movies are now common place.

Special effects - have come a long way since the days of the 50's.  Robot type monsters that used to be made out of clay and paper mache are now being made on computer!

  3. For that you are referring to drastic do not understand your question

  4. One of the biggest changes is the content - ie. violence, s*x etc. in films. The major cause of this change over the past 50 years is that as a general rule, the human race has become desensitized to the content.

A movie comes out in the 50s and it has women in bikinis. How will we cope? It is obscene and can't be allowed.

As time passes, producers need to find more graphic ways to shock the public. Pretty soon, we'll be seeing real death in films - just as we're seeing real nudity.

  5. One of the biggest changes was the change in audience taste. Audiences wanted to see different things.

Westerns went out of fashion and the advent of the Cold War and the Space Race meant that movies about spies and political intrigue came in during the 1950s and 60s along side science fiction movies. This lessoned during the 1970s but science fiction was reborn during the late 1970s and early 1980s due to the Star Wars franchise. The 1970s and 1980s also saw a big increase in dystopia future movies such as the Omega Man and the Terminator.

Things went down hill from the 1990s onwards because Studios became obsessed with SFX and they became increasingly risk adverse and were unwilling to invest money in anything that didn't look flashy in an ad.

  6. COMPUTERS.

  7. the viewers/ audiance  taste kept on changing generation by generation  , especially since 1995 on wards , the teen age tastes have

not only became very fast but also very vulgur and voilent, that is the reason the cinema industry also started producing moovies of equal  stupidity  and moovies started down grading interms of values and  being produced  only in a commercial angle ,without any values and messages , although technologically the later moovies

are superior  than the older ones
