  1. It is fairly straight forward. The money went to the kids of deadbeat parents who were not supporting them.

If you owe taxes or are behind on student loans the government put the money towards that.

  2. the answer seems pretty obvious.

For those that have cheated the government and taxpayers...they would not get more money.

  3. The money was actually an advance on next yrs tax refunds.  If you owe taxes, then the money was rightly taken to pay what you owed.  If you were a deadbeat parent, and their is a lien agaiinst your taxes, then the money was rightfully paid to the lien holder.

  4. sometimes all the records are not in the data, and when they realized oooppps this taxpayer owed money or owes money they do not get the check...so they get a little tease, classic...I like that, for I have not once seen a check from my sons deadbeat sperm donor...so no he should not get a check...sorry can't pay no money for him either...fair PLEASE lets not go there.

  5. That's has happened to Lot's of people, But it must be lawful or they could not do it. But you have a point why could they not have told the people this in advance, or did they?.uhmmmm

    please!

  7. Because they don't see it as "stimulus" they're buying votes just like democrats.

  8. 3/10

  9. They shouldn't have received a check at all if they owed Child Support. If you owe child support and you are getting an income tax refund, they will deduct it from your refund.

Seriously, why would a dead-beat father deserve any kind of tax relief? If he doesn't take care of his children, who do you think does? The tax payers of course!

  10. a deadbeat is a deadbeat is a deadbeat!
