Why did the lady go out of her way to get my attention this morning?

I was jogging and this neighbor lady came out of the blue and was asking me something....

I was like hmmm hmmm um hmmm trying to pretend to be paying attention.

What was she trying to get at though?

Well, it seems maybe she just wanted the answer to a questions and maybe it is you who are doing most of the thinking on the issue.

Maybe she was thinking, "Is the circus in town? I think I'll ask."

Maybe she wanted an answer to whatever she was asking. If you had paid attention you wouldn't need to ask a bunch of strangers who have no idea what you're talking about.

Maybe she was trying to tell you that you either ran through some doggy poo or to watch out for the rabid dog that someone saw earlier hon...You need to pay more attention to what people are saying ...  Hugs to ya.... Crone.

Wow!  You should have paid attention.  She was trying to tell you about the big fat check of yours that was accidentally left in her mailbox.  Too bad, she's annoyed because you ignored her and she burned it.

She looked at you as nothing more than a piece of *** probably... maybe she just wanted to use you as a tool?  I think she enjoyed looking at your cottage cheese thighs and got hungry so she was going to stab you and eat you.
