Why did the media sit on the John Edwards affair?

Isnt it just little biased that the media heard "rumors" of the affair while he running for President yet he was never scrutinized.

  2. After the swift boat fiasco, i thing they are gun shy..  who am i kidding, the media has always been leaning toward the dems.  That's just another example.

  7. People like Dan Blather use made up documents to attack Bush, yet the MSM ignores stories like this about a democrat.  It's why libs sound like idiots when they claim FOX news is biased.

  9. What could be made of it? Many washington big wigs have their private lives. Look at Ike and his little friend, or Kennedy and monroe.Plus, it is more fun to bash conservatives. I believe most news outlets are prone to being communists.

    Oh yeah, and back then he was on Obama's short list for VP which should have made this BIG news, but somehow didn't.  So for those saying that he wasn't running for anything...  WRONG!

  14. Well the New York Time's official response as to why they didn't report on the Edwards affair,

    Was that they do not write stories like that.

    Of course, they had no answer, as to why they wrote a story just like that about McCain, just weeks before.

    With the big differences being.

    They knew the Edwards story was fact and current.

    But the mccain story was purely allegations, with no facts to back it up, and had supposedly occurred 20 years ago.

    OH yea, The NYT say they have no political bias too.

  15. Why are they sitting on McCain's affair? His crashing so many planes in the Navy, or his involvement in the Keating savings and loan scandal?
