Why did the picture in my messenger profile disapeared,?

it said the photo settings is temporarily unavailable, and now I see other people have photos on their profile, so it seems there is something wrong, do you know why? how can I get to put a pic back in it, thank you for your time

through messenger you can add pictures to icon by setting preferences for profile,

for your profile at yahoo try using local,
