why did Addison get her own spin off show...I really didn't think she was that much of an interesting character (don't get me wrong i like her and all) to land her own spin off?

basically the actress who plays Addison (Kate Walsh) came on to the show and was really jealous of the fact that Ellen Pompeo got sooo much more money than the rest of the cast even though she was the star, and since Kate Walsh is a well-known actress she got her own show....it's crazy, i know

i don't know this for a fact, but that's what every single rumor i've heard has said
