Why did the usa basketball team treat carlos boozer so unfair?

He was barely getting any playing time.coach K would put him in the 4th quarter in the last 2 mins.He basically won a gold medal sitting on the bench.Why didnt boozer get that much playing time

The International game gives Boozer a disadvantage. Most international teams has their 4 play on the wing, and Boozer will have a hard time guarding the wings.

u cant play all 12 players evenly. the last guy on the bench is still apart of the team and still gets the gold. it dont matter if your the 1st or 12th man on the team YOUR STILL ON THE TEAM .AND THAT SHOULD BE AN HONOR FOR ANYONE

Carlos boozer is a good player and an all-star.

But Dwight Howard had size and paint domination, which Boozer didn't have.

Bosh was more versatile and played good on team USA.

so boozer was the 3rd option.

And they just never really needed him.

The team was too good.

and they got the gold medal, so I don't think anyone really cares about that now.

THe USA were implementing a more of a 8 man rotation.  Those 8 men are more acclimated playing on the court with each other.  Guys like Boozer and Redd were only going to see time if someone were to get hurt.  I think both of them were aware of that at the start of the olympics.

I dont think eitehr is complaining, they only wanted to win, no matter what their role was.  Gold is Gold.

This isnt like an All Star game where everyone gets some time to play and impress their hometown fans, its for something larger than what some would even say an NBA Championship.

Cuz the other players > Boozer. Also Redd too, they were like merely backups.

To really tell you the truth, Carlos boozer and Micheal Redd are just back ups, just in case someone gets injured or in early foul trouble. They just happen to be all-stars, the objective is not to let every guy play its to win and get gold. But trust me they earned that gold just as much as James, Melo , and Kobe did.
