  1. no in 1872 yukon was hit by the goldrush and a guy said yucon and others folowed but the one in 1821 it was becoming canada

  4. First of all,Yukon joined in 1817 or something like that.They joined because they needed a LOCAL goverment. This was because the gold rush was causing so much chaos and they couldn't stay as a part of NW territories so they left the NW territories and made their on territorie now called Yukon or The Yukon. In 1821 A miner called the place "Yucon" and over time it came to be known as "Yukon" like today.
