  1. In the Patton scene (and I believe it actually happened) there was a column of thousands of soldiers that would have been sitting ducks for any kind of attack. Also, any delay in pursuing the retreating enemy would have made later battles costlier in human lives. Sometimes things like that are the only realistic thing to do...it's part of living in the real world.

    They often killed animals in old movies.

  4. Oh man, there is an older movie called "Cannibal Holocaust." They killed 6 animals on camera. It was absolutely sickening. The director got charged with animal cruelty and went to jail. I don't understand why people used to kill animals in movies. It's really disgusting.
