Why did they make i am legend?

its a speculative text, so what flaw in our society may have influenced? is terrorism one?(when the planes bombed the bridge in the movie)

It was based on a book where no one died in the end I think. I forget if anyone major dies in the end. My brother in law read the book, I'll go ask him later.

its a movie, what do you want?

when an artist paints an image of a flower on a wasteland does he think about what it resembles? maybe some of the more soulful ones. but what about the artist who paints for the joy of painting? his work is put in the gallery and many an artisan will comment on how the image resembles mankinds struggle with daytoday life or how beauty can be found in unlikely places...they may be right, nut to the artist, it's just a nice picture.

that movie: i am legend. good film! will smith really pulled it off! but thats all it is: a movie.

true, there may be the critics that say that it has underlying messages and morals, it may do, but it all depends on individual perspective.

and no, terrorism is not a part of this film. the planes were government controlled military, destroying the bridge to quarentine the city. if its called a government then it can't commit terrorism, only attrocities.

the flaw may have been the cuase: a human created a cure for cancer and decided to make it viral so that distribution of the vaccine would be wider spread. "the road to h**l is paved with good intent" so says a book i read a while back (beginning was good but it got boring around the middle.)

why not watch a movie to be told a tale? focus on influences AFTER the entertainment.

They bombed the bridge, so no one would get out. Terrorism had nothing to do with it. It is in our nature to do any thing to survive. If it even means killing people to do it. It is collateral damage. Kill a hundred to save millions.
