Anyway, im trying to get in shape for basketball, and i ran 4 miles yesterday. Now the balls of my feet hurt, like they are burised, but they aren't. They only hurt when i walk, or something.

Did this happen cause i normally don't run that much at one time, so i stressed out the mucles in my feet.

And what can i do to help it, cause i need to run at least 2 tonight.

  1. I'm sorry that this is happening to you.  It probably did happen due to the fact that you haven't run like that before.  Soak your feet in warm water and rub them down with some (believe it or not) Vicks vapor rub if you have any before you go to bed.  At some point if you are going to continue to run like that, then invest in some really good running shoes.  Email me for some info on pain cream that will help you immensely and that is all natural.  ann.santana@gmail.com

  2. If you usually don't run that much, than yea. But also, it can be the shoes, if you were running with basketball shoes, they don't have the right support to run long distance. Running shoes specializes on that. They have different technology in the shoes like arch, pronating, ect. If it hurts that much you have to let it rest, or you can just walk it off.

  3. to help it, go the store and be properly fitted for a good pair of running shoes.

it sounds like the shoes you wore haven't supported your ligaments, leaving your feet strained.
