I was being picked on by my HISTORY teacher cause i look mexican, and he asked if i crossed a RIVER to get here

was he right by saying that???

and BTW im not Mexican, im SPANISH!!

im gona get 14946468465 thumbs down for this comment, but please, honestly, get over it, im white i get picked on by my mexican / black teachers at school all the time (just poking fun) i get the typical redneck comment, hillbilly, cracker, ect, and i dont cry about it, this is america alot of racial divides, you have to get used to the jokingly comments, your going to get them everywhere you go, now if he starts calling you a "stupid scratch back" or dumb "*******" or whatever, THEN report him, it kinda pisses me off when everyeone takes offense when someone pokes a joke at them (especially blacks and mexicans) but they go completely unheard and or un "punished / disciplined, ect" if a white person is the "victim"

anyone remember that black security guard that dumped a crippled white guy out of his wheelchari when he turned himself into a police station?

or what about that group of black kids here in vegas that went around and assault numerous WHITE people, neither of those was labeled "racist" but guranteed if those positions were switched up (black security guard, or group of white kids) GURANTEED it would be labeled racist and be all over the news for 10x longer, these incidents were blown over within a month, and compeltely forgot about

the white guy that got dumped from his chair was paralyzed, and quadrapalegic, which means he couldnt even get himself up once on the ground and broke TWO ribs (iirc)

that grouop of blacks that assaulted 6 (again, iirc, it happened two years ago) they assaulted 6 white people throughout las vegas, shot someoen, and robbed a store, ALL of the victims in this case were white people, and the last person they attacked was a WHITE security guard, and they broke his jaw while stomping him, and hitting him with a belt, that was not labeled as a hate crime either because the mother of one of the offenders made a teary eyed statement saying "shawn (i think that was his name) is not racist, we are not a family of racists"

again, i know im going to get a ton of thumbs down for this, but i just thought that these should be out in the open, im not going to respond to this thread anymore because its going to start a big old argument and fuss about all the extremely sensitive persons here, again, i just thought i might mention the fact that not only white people are racist, and that i get messed with like that all the time, no matter where i go

the next time someone calls me a hillbilly, redneck or cracker though, im coming straight here, going to refernece THIS question and compare the responses, i can almost gurantee, that since im white, people are going to say the exact same thing i just did "its just poking fun" then show them this post and the flurry of "he's being racist and highly discriminate, tell the principal and your parents" because the teacher was joking around (again, if he keeps making joke after joke about it, talk to him and tell him to stop and if he doesnt THEN tell hte dean or principal, please (not just you OP) everyone who is saying this is racist, please stop blowing it out of proportion, about 5 black teachers i have / know are going to lose their jobs for calling me a cracker and about 65414615 black students at my school that joke around calling me cracker are going to (hopefully, but doubtfully) get suspended, if this c**p continues

btw, im not racist, i have probably at the LEAST as many black / mexican friends as i do white friends

I am part/majority irish and I've had people (school officials) make fun of me or that.

Like my height or they say something about the whole drinking stereotype.

Just recently I was picked on by a school security guard, he made a drinking joke.

You know, it just shows his ignorance, since you are spanish not mexican and I think his ignorance is punishment enough.lol

I have a teacher just like that at my school. I don't have her but everyone is always telling me how she makes fun of mexicans by making fun of stuff like climbing fences, cross country, etc. Just tell your parents and hopefully that will all be settled.

You need to tell your principal and parents about what he said, and gather anyone who heard to anonymously report him to the principal and school board as well.  Making racist comments to students is never ever okay, and he deserves to be punished for that.
