Why did this question only get two answers?

Is it just too lengthy or what? I'd really like opinions on the question, but sometimes mine don't get many answers.

It probably got only two answers for one or two reasons:

1.) Most people answer questions when they are first asked, because the question is posted at the top of the "Open Questions" list on this site.

2.) The question you asked was rather lengthy compared to other questions on this site, yes, but you were simply explaining what happened. Unfortunately some see the length of the question first, and decide if they should answer second.

My answer to your other question is this: It sounds like you met a nice, friendly pedestrian. She may be a student. She may not be. She held the door open for you, which was nice, and was friendly to you on the stairs, which again was nice. However she may have just been showing good manners. You may think that she was being short with you, but she may have had somewhere to go and not realize that you wanted to have a conversation with her.

Your best bet at finding this person would to be to go back to the same library. If she is a student at your college, she should be there occasionally. If she isn't a student at your college, she may not be there as much.

In conclusion, you encountered a friendly person who opened a door for you, talked to you for a bit, and went on to do their business. Try not to over evaluate things.

sorry i think it's just too lengthy.. when i click on a question and see it's that long normally i don't even bother reading it. maybe just shorten it quite a bit and simplify it.. hope it works out!

Just like in a composition..u need PARAGRAPHS if u are gonna go so lengthy.
