  1. what happen its the chlorine in your new water.

    kOi keeper & goldfish keeper

  2. Its probably because you completely cleaned out the tank. Did you use any chemicals or soap? Because you should never do that it can kill the fish. And totally cleaning it out kills all the beneficial bacteria in the fish tank and most importantly (if you have one) in the the filter. The best way to manage a fish tank is to do weekly or daily water changes. Depending on the size of your tank you should change 10percent of the water every day or every other day. So if you have a 10 gallon you would change 1 gallon. If you have a 20 gallon you'd change 2 gallons, and so on. I find the best thing to do is to use some empty one gallon milk cartons. Just rinse em' out with hot water and they should be fine to use. Get as many as you need for your size tank. Fill them up with tap water. And treat the tap water with water conditioner to remove the chlorine that can also kill the fish. You can buy water conditioner (if you don't already have some) at your local pet store. Take out as many gallons as you need to replace from the tank with some other separate milk cartons and replace it with the treated tap water. Letting the treated water sit overnight is also best.

For cleaning the gravel buy a siphon at Wal-Mart or your local pet store. Every once in a while you should clean the gravel and do water changes at the same time. Since the siphon sucks up water while it sucks up waste and extra food from the gravel don't take out too much water.

  3. Did the fish have ick?  I would not clean your tank out so often let the natural ballance happen in the tank as it should be.    I had a 120gal and cleaned it out once in three years only tochange fron lava rock to sand. Aquariums are a miniature eco-system and we need to allow this to mature. also if the tank is always dirty from the fish try getting more plants to ballance the nitrate level.

Old timers trick:: get old pennies made of real copper (1940 or older) and put them in the tank for a week or so. No ick ( copper-sufate and sulfite) = old pennies this is what the ick meds are made of

  4. you might of removed too much good bacteria from your cleanings.

or you might of contaminated the tank with your hand if you had washed them with soap or wearing lotion, some people bleach the decorations and kill the fish.

  5. Well, it might be the water you put them in.  I guess certain fish can't be in certain types of water.  How long have you had these fish?  it depends on that too.

  6. It was because the natural chlorine in  your fish tank was washed away! you have to be careful when your cleaning your fish tank! otherwise you may have fed them too much! ask your local pet store to see how much you should feed them!

  7. i think your fish needed the salt water instead of the clean bluewater .

Maybe they don't like the tank smell and they all die because of the tanks.MAYBE they eat too much food or they much of eat the rock in the fish tanks which is bad..
