Funny ain't it .. Play brilliantly against good teams, eg. France (World Cup + 6 Nations) and Australia (World Cup) yet we play awful against c**p teams, eg. Scotland, Italy n Wales.

No offense Wales but your hardly 'World Class" just had no one really ter give you a proper game.

See how well yer play against teams like NZ or South Africa eh.  =]

The Scots are a team that has the " kill or die" attitude when it comes to playing England. They mite be the bottom keeper in the home nations but they'll throw everything, even the kitchen sink at the Poms. when they play. Viva la Scots!!!!!

Because Scotland were better on the day, that's generally how you lose a sporting event.

Our backs created no opportunities and we failed to keep the ball for more than three phases at a time.

It looked like poor discipline from England mixed with awful conditions and a poor performance from the half backs.  Don't get me wrong Wilko's king but he had a shocker today like (Toby Flood for Prime Minister)

in the first half we were against the wind. WILKINSON WOULD HAVE PROBABLY GOT THE PENALTY KICK WITHOUT THE WIND BUT THE DEFENSE WAS GOOD ANYHOW.

Mimi - England have never been great since Ashton took over. The RWC is simply not the best measuring stick to judge a teams ability.

The team more than BA fought their way into the RWC final - Ashton was just stumbling along for the ride. At last he has been found out.
