Why did women love ted bundy?

i was watching a video on youtube that said until the day he died he was getting over 200 letters a day frome women he never met saying they loved him. i dont understand this because he killed women because he hated them...

Lets just say  (hypothetically) that one of these girls did get the chance to be with him. When would they realize being with Ted was a mistake? Why would a girl want to be with a man that arguably killed over 100 women!?  Maybe that would of been a good thing, natural selection can do wonders.
