Why did yahoo remove message boards & no replacement?

  1. Too many trolls and racists dominating the boards.


  2. Because they were too lazy to administer their own terms of services agreement, really. They blamed people for "monopolizing" the boards, but in fact, anyone could post, if they chose.

    Too bad; although there were "trolls," there was a good, lively exchange of information, in near real-time.

  3. I think I found out a solution.. we should post the news on Yahoo Answers and comment on them.. search for YNews on yahoo answers, and you ll see what I mean and let's do that. I really want to comment on news and miss the old boards.

  4. Because some thin-skinned candy-assed lawyer filed a class action lawsuit against them because somebody called his sissy little butt a name.

  5. some trolls went too far,most were OK. the whiny lawyer didn't help any. as for why no replacement,who knows.
