Why did you decide to Homeschool and do you like it?

Hello, Iam considereing homeschooling for my 7th grader this year.

I am not sure how if the can really learn and also make friends this way too? Do you have alot of extra activities & PE time?

How do they like it and why do most people choose this over public schools? Thanks so much

I was home schooled, I think it's a really good idea.

I was able to start a business, do music, and have a lot of friends without spending all day in a school.

A lot of people think home school-ers become hermits, or nerdy, but the easy solution for that is just get them involved with stuff. Why not sports or after school activity's at the nearest school?

i'm not sure if this is the answer you're looking for, but as an incoming freshman i've known quite a few homeschooled kids. i'm telling you with my p.o.v, it's not the way to go. it's EXTREMELY hard for kids to make friends, and public school offers many life lessons that often can't be learned in homeschooling- socialization, respect for adults, etc...

I had to choose over hoemschool or public school but i chose public so i wont be in the house all the time and be a hermit haha

Homeschools have PE too.
