Why did you get your tattoo?

i' thinking about getting one. but i dont want to get it for the wrong reasons. reason number 1- to be flirt (you have a tattoo? where? on my butt you want to see) 2. to let go of a relationship (like wings on my back or something) 3. get one as a memorial for a loved one. but then i think why would i mark up my body. so why did you get your tattoo?

because I like them.  I got one for my grandma, and one for my dogs (paw prints).  I have never regretted them.

id probably say number 3. it reminds my of a childhood friend who died from cancer, but it also reminds me of myself in the same way. i dont think of it as marking up my body. i dont see life that way. we only live once--and i plan to make the most of it. i dont care if people judge me of my tattoos. its me. if they dont understand that--then they really dont understand me. i love my tattoo, and i dont regret it.

Mine represents my whole life and the challenges I've gone through. I guess it's number three because that's part of the tattoo. It looks good on my body (I made it look feminine)  but it's not flirting, it just accentuates my curves.

all of the above. I think tattoos are really sexual.  And I like that about them.  I get them in places that highlight places I like on my body.  One I got after a relationship, but it wasn't so much about that relationship in particular but rather by ability to bounce back from hardships.

i got my first one because i really wanted a tattoo and my family mon looked awesome. the second one, because me and my friends were all leaving to go to different colleges so we all got a bolt (for all america's best dance crew watchers we got it BEFORE f***y pak got theirs).

Well in the past couple years i felt that everything in my life was being taken away from me, and so i wanted to get a tattoo that i planned on getting when i was 18(yes i will be there in 2 years),just so at the and of the day i  can say that i still  have something that is mine and no one can take from me.

well, the first was an 18th birthday present to myself and it was to be a flirt cuz I used to be a huge flirt. The second one I got later in life was my name in Hebrew because it has a special meaning to me and deals with my heritage and family. So the first was stupid, second was meaningful and all the rest are just art

i havent gotten one yet but when i do it will be for my sisters. one was still born and the other died 4 days later [they were twins]

they were supposed to be born on my bday but came 12 days before, i just havent decided what i want yet.
