  1. I am joining because I need a fresh start. I have a good job as a civilian, but I don't enjoy it, I recently lost my mother and found myself in a whirlwind.

I come from a Military Family, and I LOVE my country and would gladly give my life for my land.

That is why I am joining.

And I doubt I will regret it.

  2. You never regret joining. This is a decision that you will thank yourself for making the rest of your life. With all of the benefits there is no regrets.

  3. For job training. Never did regret it.

  4. Always wanted to fly fighters-and got my chance.

I never really REGRETTED it, especially compared with what some of my friends from HS and College were doing.  However, there were times I was ready to get out and do something else.  This was frustration with the USAF bureaucracy and the USAF officer career plan.  The officer career path seems to be written by Puritans:  if you're good at something and enjoy it, you need to move to something else you won't enjoy...

    Overall though, a good time.

  5. Because my husband was in and i wasnt doing anything so i decided to join too. then we got joint spouse and got back together about a year and a half ago. I do not regret joining.

  6. my husband joined..partly because he tried to get a job couldnt..he had went to a technical school...couldnt get a job with that...my grandfather retired from the air force after 31 years...before either of us was born..but he lived that life till he died....his father had been in the army during vietnam and it was something he talked about all the time..the two of them together talking to him helped him come to his decision to join...and he has never regreted it..he has been in 19 years 8 months and 15 days...
