  1. awww, your reason is funny (not that im laughing at you getting a flogging!!)

My Grandpa was a passionate Pies supporter and I just inherited the passion at an early age - ive got black/white blood so to speak :P

  2. I go for the mighty Port as you can tell by my avatar, the reason i barrack for them is that my old man use to take me and my brother to see port play at alberton all the time before they went into the AFL! I Loved how every other club in the SANFL hatted  Port Adelaide with a passion due to the fact that they played hard, dirty football and also cause we have won more flags than any other team in the comp! Also My step dad use to own a clothes shop in port adelaide in the eighties so me and my brother spent alot of time in the port adelaide area and i loved it cause it was a rough gritty area!

Port are the most successful Aussie Rules Club and i look forward to that being recognised in th AFL

    36 SANFL premierships

    4    Australian Champions trophies

    1   AFL premiership

    RIP Fos Williams

We ended up losing by about 40 pts, but thats what made me the PROUD blues supporter i am today.

  6. I used to barrack for Fitzroy as did most of my family, then when they merged (If you call sending a handful of players to Brisbane a merger) I changed to North Melbourne.

  7. Originally a Carlton supporter, I started barracking for the Western Bulldogs in Grade 3 because the boy I liked supported them.

The Mighty Cats has been in my family for years, and it is time for my generation to hold our familys tradition, i decided that person that decided to support those Cats musta had it pretty big, so i decided, ill make a new family tradition, bad idea, my whole family didn't change the tradition, i go for the swans and they ALL go for the Cats, but to answer youre question, why did i decide to barrock for the Swans, well, because, they are my gods, this year is the year of the swan !,

  13. I went for the Eagles because my team, Fitzroy, folded.

I followed Fitzroy due to Kevin Murray having coached me as a footballer during a stint in WA. When Murray returned to Vic to recommence with Fitzroy I couldn't help but follow his progress (he won a Brownlow after he got back) & ended up being a supporter of the side.

  14. In the beginning it was purely cos we lived in Sydney I hated rugby and all my family barracked 4the swans...

Then we moved to WA and they all jumped on the Weagles band wagon...

So then I barrack 4swans to p**s them off...

Now I thouroughly love my swannies good and bad..

  20. i had an uncle who brainwashed me, i in turn brainwashed all siblings under me, got them all, 6, my elder brother (1) goes for c'wood. funny thing is, all siblings have had kids, they all go for the tigers, uncle ROM has created a dynasty without even planning it, i was lucky seeing 5 tiger grand finals, the others well some have seen some, some have missed out, their turn will come, at last count there were 28 tiger supporters from what i began, well my uncle, who wasn't really a blood uncle, one of those family friends. he died in 1987, he would be laughing up there at my mum,(who joined him last year 'up there') as she was Carlton and we knocked them off this year, i let her have the first game last year after she died, no more i told her at the cemetery after that.

Isn't footy a real leveler, here i am telling cyber space personal convo's i have had with my deceased mum, she'd laugh at that, go tige's (and the blues for my mum)
