..If there hadn't been any such hadiths that prortay our Prophet(pbuh) as sexual man(hadith on going to all wives in single night and like) and hadith on women is bad omen, there would have been much unity and consenses among us..

Why did this happen?

  1. The Hadeeth is preserved through the science of Hadeeth. Likewise the Qur'aan.

Imaam Muslim also recorded in his the Muqaddimah of his Saheeh (1/15) that Muhammad ibn Seereen said:

لم يكونوا يسألون عن الإسناد فلما وقعت الفتنة قالوا سموا لنا رجالكم فينظر إلى أهل السنة فيؤخذ حديثهم وينظر إلى أهل البدع فلا يؤخذ حديثه

((The had not used to ask about the Isnaad (chains of narration) but when the Fitnah arose they said, “Name us your men!” so they looked to Ahlus Sunnah and they took their narrations and they looked to the people of innovation and they did not take their narrations))

Imaam Muslim also recorded (1/16) that ‘Abdullaah bin Mubaarak said:

الإسناد من الدين ولولا الإسناد لقال من شاء ما شاء

((According to me, the Isnaad is from the religion, if it was not for the Isnaad, whoever wished could say whatever they wished.))

He continues to say (Saheeh Muslim (1/16)):

بيننا وبين القوم القوائم يعني الإسناد

((Between us and the people is the Qawaa’im, meaning the Isnaad))

  2. peace Cutie Pie,

many people claim that the hadith are the primary reason for disunity among muslims. however, the first fitnah in the muslim community following after the death of the prophet (peace be upon him) which eventually led to the sunni-shia split was not (initially) over hadith. in the absence of hadith people will invent other reasons to cause disunity.

allah has only promised the preservation of qur'an. he says:

    (015:009)

Behold, it is We Ourselves who have bestowed from on high, step by step, this reminder? and, behold, it is We who shall truly guard it [from all corruption].

allah did not promise to preserve the hadith as he had not promised to preserve revelations to earlier prophets. rather it was men who were entrusted with this responsibility.

    (005:044)

It was We who revealed the law (to Moses): therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews, by the prophets who bowed (as in Islam) to Allah's will, by the rabbis and the doctors of law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's book, and they were witnesses thereto: therefore fear not men, but fear me, and sell not my signs for a miserable price. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) Unbelievers.

however, this fact is not sufficient as an excuse to absolve ourselves from the responsibility of adhering to the hadith. rather each person is individually responsible for following the true teachings to the best of their abilities. for allah does not burden any soul with more than it can bear.

    (002:286)

On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear

    hope that helps

  3. The Hadeeth are not the final law for mankind.  The Holy Qur'an is.  The Qur'an is perfect, unchanged, and without contradiction.  Since we know the Qur'an is perfect, we have an easy way of accepting/rejecting Hadeeth.

If a Hadeeth does not contradict the Qur'an, then it can be accepted.  If it does contradict the Qur'an, thenit should not be accepted.  Very simple.

love for all, hatred for none

  4. because people wrote all religious books that ever existed.

  5. reported and then deleted? Lol- you are spending too much time on YA

As per your Q. God placed many other tests before us. Why did he choose not to guide some Jews and Christians? Why did he allow people to keep following pagan religions.

because he gave us free will to decided
