  1. Becuase he is a drama queen look at the past few years. Now he says his arm is fatigued?

  2. he's doing research on arm fatigue syndrome and trying to synchronize his legacy with the jets offensive line

  3. Cause apparently he can do whatever the **** he wants.

  4. I think he just likes football too much to quit.

  5. It is like smoking cigarettes...it is hard to quit.  It is what your are used to doing every day.

Brett just doesn't know how to quit and do something else.

While most of us think we could adjust very well to doing something else with our millions in the bank...we are not Brett Favre.

I was about to lose all respect for him when it was reported he was considering the 20 mil deal to stay retired.  But he rejected that and accepted a trade to the Jets..who are not superbowl contenders.  It just proves that Brett was not lying when he said this was all about his desire to just keep playing.

It will be a long time before we know all the details of what exactly went down in Green Bay..but at least we know Brett was sincere that he just wanted to keep playing.  That is a big positive on this situation.

All news coming out of the Jets camp, other than his 'tired' arm, have been positive.  I never doubted he could still play, just doubted his motives.

His motive seems clear to me...he simply isn't ready to hang up his cleats.  I certainly don't wish him bad, but I don't think Brady or P. Manning could take the Jets to the SB.   But I guess if anyone can beat the odds...it would be Brett.

So while I am not a Jets or Packer fan, I am a Favre fan - if Brett leads the Jets to the Superbowl...well, he provides the answer to who is the greatest player of all time.  I don't think it will happen, but what if it does?

  6. madden curse.

    long time brett favre fan

just let me think that is true.

    the jets??????

  7. Umm, didn't wanna?

He's probably broke. He's married see, and as any married man can tell you, no matter how much you can earn she CAN spend more.

  8. Because he wanted media attention and to take away from Aaron Rodgers.

  9. Because he "wanted to keep playing"....

Yeah, I wonder that as well.

  10. Training camp opened and he got the itch to come back. He kinda rushed into his retirement because he had held the team hostage the last couple of years and was critcized for doing that, so this year he decided to just retire and not create controversey and he made it even worse.
