Why didn't Camilla go to princess Diana's remembrance Anniversary?

Wasit because who conciuos was worrying her I think it is disgraceful that she didny go and yes there will be ppl that say she had a live of her own but still she should remeber that she married princess diana,s expartner and show some respect

Camilla had a nearly lifelong affair with Prince Charles. It was well known-even Diana knew he was in love with Camilla when she married Charles.

Charles' infidelity was the main source of problems in their marriage. (Did you hear the "I-particularly-like-in- and out-with-you telephone recordings?)

If YOU were either of Diana's sons, would YOU invite your father's w***e to your mother's memorial?

I think not. I don't care what the palace says.

Camilla doesn't belong at the People's Princess' Memorial.

This is about the eighth time someone has posted about the Duchess not going. Damned if she went, damned if she didn't. Your bias aside, she did the right thing.

Are you for real? Haven't you been reading the press? Watching all the so called experts? Camilla was damned if  she went and damned if she didn't. The anti Camilla brigade have been making life miserable for her for so long . The boys have accepted things have changed, I just wish those poor victims of the press could move on too

Because the s***k pretty much committed adultery with Prince Charles when she was alive. She should be ashamed and if I did that.... I wouldn't attend either. Besides... she has a face only a mother could love...

I believe the Princes' invited her out of kindness only, I don't believe they expected her to actually attend.  It would have (in my opinion), been in very bad taste for her to go.  It was reported on CNN that Camilla went to the Queen and asked her what she ought to do, and the Queen suggested that she not go.

Camilla showed the utmost respect by not appearing. She did not attend as to not take away from the event. It would have been scandalous if she had attended.

She changed her mind about going because she didn't want the event to be about her. She wanted it to be all for Diana as it should be. A very honorable and unselfish move.

You know how the press gets they would of constantly had the camera on her and what she was wearing etc.
