Why didn't Fox show the Spielberg video on our military that was on at the Dem. convention?

I was watching it on CNN as it was being shown live at the convention. I switched over to Fox and it was just commentary from the talking heads about the convention.

This was a powerful piece, and I am surprised that Fox wouldn't show it, especially since it was from such a well know director.

Any idea why they didn't run it?

Fox Noise is all about denying their viewing audience information. The little kool aid drinking Repubs like it that way.

Maybe they are trying to be fair and balanced by not showing the highly liberal biased advertisement, unlike the Clinton News Network (CNN)

Yes, because the Fox network don't respect Spielberg as a author on anything other than a film about the Holocaust and maybe some Disney type classic. Remember he is the only director that decided show the heroic efforts of soldiers in world war two, by exhibiting that film called saving private ryan. A film that said nothing about the efforts of the military and Americans who fought in Europe or the Pacific. The don't trust his intentions or politics. Remember FOX is as conservative as MS NBC is liberal.

CNN has no problem airing DNC propaganda, they're the media arm of the DNC. If you want to run propaganda on the other networks, you got to pay for it. They won't run RNC puff pieces either.

I agree with you.  It was a really moving video, and a fitting tribute to our troops.  I could tell Spielberg honored the military after I saw Saving Private Ryan.

I have chosen to watch the convention on C-SPAN because even on the other networks (other than Fox, I mean) they are often talking over speeches I would like to hear or other things they decide are unimportant.  Did you see Tammy Duckworth speak, by the way?  She was great.
