  1. maybe its cause back then they believed girls wernt really much nuttin just good for extendin the population c'mon think about it whats the ration of girls to guys who actually made much of an improvment in life? im a girl to and i dont really believe in this sterotype

  2. Who wants part of a rib?

  3. I don't think he didn't want a daughter.  I believe he sent his "son" because in those times women weren't respected and trusted.  So if he chose to send his daughter the message wouldn't have been received because off the top people wouldn't listen to her because of her gender

  4. Only God would know. Ask God.

  5. because he needed someone who could get the job done.

  6. 'Marcus Vitruvius' is so right. I am 21 and my dad still chases guys with a bat. Have a daughter is a lot of work.

    God already has daughters anyway.

  7. Because he doesn't want to. Why ask this?

  8. There are thousands of tens of thousands, and DAUGHTER you are one of them. If Adam was a son of God. St. Luke 3:38 then that makes Eve a daughter of God .Who was talking in St.Mark 5:34? YES YOU ARE G.G.as a matter of fact.

  9. Because he was created by a bunch of chauvinistic men.

  10. Not man enough to be a single father.

    Cheers :-)

  11. It's difficult to answer this question with any degree of rigour as I cannot account for God's intentions nor can I hypothesize about what his inclination was or wasn't.  Nor can I even rationalize the existence of this entity any more than I can rationalize the existence of a Patrirachy that oppresses ladies.

  12. I don't think the question was ever about what *God* wanted.  It was about what the people down on *Earth* would want. . . and they'd be a lot more likely to listen to a man than a woman.

If God had actually wanted a daughter less than a son, I'm pretty sure the early church wouldn't have been as women-friendly as it's increasingly starting to seem that it was.

  13. He invented women...why would he desire something he hadn't created yet. Why do feminist feel the need to bring up religion if your a man hating athiest you don't need to tell everyone.

Wait you talking Jesus or Adam...either way it doesn't matter.

  14. too much work. mine is turning 13 and I have to fend off all the boys with a baseball bat. she such a cutie but she'll always be Daddy's little girl.

  15. The Christian God was invented to surpress a great number of people, including women. If there is a God, it is not sexist.

  16. Probably because at the time Jesus came into the world, men were considered leaders in the world.  A woman just wouldn't have had the same impact as a man.  Not to sound sexist, but it's the truth.

  17. God's son is God himself.

  18. I would think because women didn't have much authority back then, and no-one would ever think of a "god" to be a female, and would probably have an even harder time believing.

  19. cuz God does whatever the h**l he wants.  there doesn't need to be a reason.

  20. God has plenty of daughters, we are all his children.

If Jesus had been a girl unfortunately, not nearly as much would have been acheived in a time where women had no rights.

The Legacy of Jesus Christ is that god loved all of his children, and we are all his children.

Besides every mother wants a son ;<)

  21. You are ridiculous. Why would you even ask this question? You obviously know you will just get a bundle of opinions, most of which are that only God knows why he chose a son. Please, just stop.

  22. You could say that it was because back then in that particular society men could get more done and get their message across better.  Of course, if you are like me and believe that God is a creation of church, then it is the result of sexist ideology from a religious viewpoint that centuries ago tried to demean and degrade the role of women as a means to fight the opposing theology of paganism which was essentially a female centered religion. Christianity became a male dominated religion to seperate itself from paganism in a tug of war for religious power.

  23. the church is so gender biased that even if god had sent down a daughter, she wouldve been stoned on spot or defamed and accused of being a tramp... and then centuries later be renamed into a man. if the billion or so people this world were to worship a woman saving our sins that would open to women popes and thats as crazy as a woman president. the last bit was sarcasm... but this is not. women are evil, they all have a little evil in them and if you say you dont youre lying.

  24. good question.

Probably had something to do with king roles being manly male roles back then.

But to counter bible burners read old testament book of Ruth. She could and is considered a female prophet.

And also interesting to note Judaism and then Christianity where the only religions even to date that gave women rights and allowed for the current equal rights now enjoyed.

Only sexist man haters and ignorant atheists try to cover up the truth. Christianity and Judaism was the first equal rights movement. And every equal rights movement originates from those religions. So to claim sexism is beyond foolish.

    ------------

Got to love feminist's.. read history books. Pagan religions gave women comparable rights's to that of a chair.
