A Romney pick would not have generated nearly the buzz the Palin nod has. He needed a way to knock Obama's speech out of the news cycle, and out of the minds of undecided voters. I would say he did a fine job. Not to mention the pro choice and NRA base he has invigorated.

I would just like to say first of all I'm a supporter of Barack Obama, second what the heck was McCain thinking pickin Gov Palin. Don't get me wrong she's an attractive woman but seriously what can she bring to the table. Romney would of been my choice.
