  1. It's a preseason game.

  2. Because its a preseason game so they dont want him to get injured.

  3. it's called the PRE-SEASON,

the teams do not give a **** about these games, if they could, they wouldn't play at all, or at least play no starters.

  4. 1. Starters always only play a series or two, perhaps a quarter.  It's for injury prevention, and they don't want to reveal a lot of the first-team offense and defense.

    2. Teams use the preseason to determine starting and backup jobs.  Players are fighting for a spot on the active roster.

    3. At QB, teams often give the backups more work, because they'll see very little in the regular season, unless there's an injury to the starter.

  5. It's not an actual game....it's preseason, so there are a bunch of factors.

    1. LJ is injury prone and they don't want to risk it.

    2. They want to see what the guys on their bench look like so depth charts can be finalized.

    3. They don't want to wear anyone out too much as wear and tear is possible. QB's might suffer a dead arm, etc.

    4. They get to see draft picks in real game situations.

It's all basically feeling your team out...seeing what you need to work on and seeing what the best setup is.

    Preseason means nothing.

  6. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm idk maybe its PRESEASON
