Obviously, both candidates want people who won't steal their thunder.  Otherwise it would have been Hillary Clinton v. Mitt Romney.

No.  He wanted to balance the ticket.  Palin has executive experience and is very pro-life.  I thought Rice would be great too, but I don't think she wanted it.

Besides, I think she is too old.Remember, john left his wife for a beauty queen - 24 when he was 40+  and he dropped his boys like a hot potato for a Beauty queen  McPalin  lol
