  1. Because McCain remembers that Ridge told us to put plastic and duct tape around our houses to protect us from terrorists gassing us.

  2. Personally, I think that Tim Pawlenty would have been a good choice as well.  But Sarah Palin is just great!!!

    So vote the RIGHT  way...vote:

    McCain/ Palin '08

  3. Because millions of Americans don't believe terrorists are a threat and Ridge's biggest appeal is leading Homeland Security.

  4. because Tom ridge is pro choice.

  5. Because the republicans told McCain not to pick Tom Ridge they wanted a anti choice VP so they demanded McCain pick one. So much for him standing up to his party and being a maverick.

  6. He is pro choice, will not bring in woman voters, and he is another rich old white guy

  7. Tom thinks KILLING BABIES is okay...

  8. I hate Tom Ridge with a fiery passion...worst thing that ever happened to PA...and yet...I think he's more qualified and would make a better VP than Sarah Palin.

P.S. - I'm a woman and I'd love to see one in office....just not her.

  9. why should he? he did great with Pailn.

a woman that 80% of americas families can connect with!

a woman that got to be gov and got rid of the limo and driver. got rid of the chef and cut her own pay in half!

cut government spending by 500 million! vetos earmarks on bills!

oh yeah, I am in heaven!!!!

  10. Because he's a man.

  11. Probably not. Shadowy cfr globalists are the ones who actually 'pick' the vp candidate(s).

  12. Because Sarah Palin is a better choice to attack the corruption and arrogant elite influencing the weak, greedy people who populate the U.S. Congress.

The U.S. Congress writes the checks, spends the money and decides who gets what and not the President. Try to understand how our government works.

  13. he's a gun-ho maverick... and i don't think anyone wanted his offer.... that's how he got stuck with Palin..

  14. Because McCain is too weak to stand up to the Republican party.

No way, no how, no McCain!

  15. He might be too tied to Bush althought he might have helped win PA.

  16. Because McCain is a buffoon. Why would any candidate try to repeat Mondale/Ferraro '84.

Is that suppose to be a Maverick pick. Its a disaster for the Republicans and Sarah Palin is digging their party's grave.

  17. I know...that would make sense since we don't seem to be taking the terrorist threat seriously! I heard that homo Giuliani talking about the Democrats aren't addressing the terrorist threat seriously. I beg to differ since the terrorists that we are looking for can be found at 1600 Pennsylvania avenue in Washington D.C.

  18. How many times do we have say it Sarah Palin is the most qualified. OOPS  , Ridge was a 6 term U.S States Congressman

Served 6 years as Pennsylvania's Governor

Was the first Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.....

So in a nutshell Palin was the most qualified ??????

Oh I forgot , it might have had something to do with him being pro-choice and we must never go against the Evangelical Right Wing " Christians" McCain is trying to appease them, at all costs. He bravely withstood torture as a P.O.W and very admirable Vietnam Vet, but he is scared sh*tless of the Conservative " nut job" wing of the party.

  19. He decided to go with a pro-lifer after his stellar appearance at Rick Warren's Saddleback Church.  She was the only one he could find.  She's also against stem cell research, birth control of any kind, voted against declaring polar bears an endangered species, used her office to fire her sorry brother-in-law, admits to smoking weed, and is a lifetime member of the NRA.  She wants creationism taught in public schools and would ban some books from public libraries.  Oh, and she also voted against funding for the public library in her town--they probably refused to burn the books she didn't like.

  20. He's too liberal for many republicans.   They chose Sarah Palin to get the redneck vote and the evangelical vote.

Haven't you noticed how uneducated and ignorant her most enthusiastic supporters are ?

  21. I hope not, Ridge would have been a fine choice if he were asked.

  22. Nope.  Palin was a better choice - she thinks the same way as John McCain;  he realized they would both be "rowing in the same direction", as they live by the same basic principals as the other.   She is a reformer; a progressive;

she is more than able to shake things up in Washington, and Washington will never be the same again with those two there -  I think they would bring about more change and what's  more important - POSITIVE CHANGES that will do all of us good, keep us safe, and keep America where she belongs, at number "one".
