  1. its just his choice


  2. he wore the bottoms, just not the whole body suit

  3. it was only qualifying, which  they were practically guaranteed of getting in.

    I've heard those suits are extremely tough to get into, so maybe he didn't want to go through the painstaking hassle of squeezing into it.  he's that good.
