Why didn't Obama pick Hillary?

Because he choose to pick someone that will actually help him when he becomes president rather then picking someone who will only help him win the election.  

As you can see, McCain only made his decision on what will help him win the election.

Deep down, Obama and Hillary didn't get along very well.  Obama also did not want the former president hovering around the White House and possibly forcing his views over her v.p. wife.  I also think Obama did not want Hillary herself to upstage him.  

Obama made a wise choice.

first of all, I don't think they work well together and Obama wanted a vp that would be a little easier to work with.

secondly, had he chosen Hillary, with all her baggage, including Bill, I think the c**p from the right would have been flying.

thirdly, it would have looked like pandering because everyone is aware of 1 and 2 above.  And that is what it would have been.  

You can second guess all you like but if he had chosen Hillary, I doubt the repubs would have allowed McCain to pick Palin.

If you watched the campaign between Obama and Hillary you wouldn't have to ask this question.

Same reason McCain didn't pick Romney.....Romney and Hillary are polarizing.

I think Obama made the right decision.   Just watch how often you hear Biden attacking McCain, and know that's why he's where he is.   So, he's great for the election.

Then, when they get into office it's even better.  You couldn't have a better, more experienced backup than Biden.

Biden does a better job in strengthening the areas where Obama is weak; specifically in experience and foreign policy.

I'm pretty sure that Obama would offer Hillary Clinton a position in his cabinet, were he to be elected President.

He isn't into picking people just based upon hype so yes it would be a bigger hype by choosing Hillary, but he is the only candidate that actually wants to win based on policy! Thats why he is going to win i just hope he has enough sense to fire all his secret service and hire new ones because we all know what happened to Kennedy.
